Electric cars are known for their rapid acceleration. I think it was one of the BYD cars I looked at the specs for and 0-60 was something like 3.8 seconds. That's nearly as fast as my 600 CBR

My first drive in an EV and all I can say is WOW!
Acceleration is absolutely bonkers and the ride and handling was pretty good too.
I admit I have until now been an EV sceptic, I think I’m converted 🫤
It certainly has the interior that the face lifted Puma should have had, very smart and well screwed together.
Hopefully the EV Puma due in late 2025 is as good.
I think I have been turned😜😜😜
Isn’t the Puma Gen E launched next week?
That’s what is says on Ford’s website.
December 3rd.

Yes it may well be launched shortly, I was going by when my dealers said they were expecting their first demonstrator.
I really liked the new Capri but not at circa £50,000. I will have a test drive of the EV Puma but unless the build quality has improved dramatically will probably head towards a Kia at next change.
Lots of issues in that Romanian facility, quality control appears non existent 🫤
