9. External charging of the vehicle uses the 12V jump start terminal in the engine compartment and this charging is primarily for the 12-volt battery. When the 12V battery reaches at least 50% SoC, the 48-volt battery charging circuit powers up and charges the Lithium-Ion battery. The Lithium-Ion battery is also charged during normal engine operation and during coasting. External charging only functions if the hood is open.

Puma doesn't have this 48 volt battery charging scheme.

Says who? Without evidence it’s a worthless comment, but I am happy to see evidence. By the way I couldn’t care less whst system it has as I would never consider buying one.

Valid point, if it relies 100% on coasting generation it will be as good as useless in any case

What on earth would that have to do with it? Again, your WRONG, I have had a Puma since June 2021! A 1.5 Puma ST along side Focus ST’s and others.

My take on this is if you join an owners forum you are more likely to be interested in how these things work.
