Puma has dropped to 9th this year up to now with under 3800 sales in first two months. It dropped dramatically on release of the facelift onward and has continued. Sportage, Qashqai, Corsa and Golf leading the way with nearer 5k sales. Confirms the buying public have voted with their feet on the current effort.

Yes, and there are loads on the used market. You'd think there would be a deal to be made at dealers, but there isn't.

Making my wife's car rarer on the roads, and everyone else's Sportage,Cashcow,Corsa are not in direct competition to the Puma as the Sportage and cashcow are far larger than a Puma, the Corsa is a good bit cheaper than the Puma,as for the Golf different class of car
Dropping the 0% finance plus increasing the Apr hasn't done ford any favours

Popped into dealer yesterday, the prices they are asking are ridiculous. specked one up and they want £35,000 for less than I have now.
You can tell sales are bad as well as they are offering plenty of cars on a 1 week delivery, so the stock must be piling up.

Agreed with all the point above, they’ve also ditched a lot of their dealers. I know for a fact that I’m simply buying out my PCP this time, as our local ford dealership lost the sales contract. Shame really.

Ford have the midas touch in reverse at the moment - they have taken the Puma - a former What Car car of the year and a number 1 in the sales charts and instead of building on the success and the key features which made it so good have managed to dilute it and water it down and make it worse and so expensive its no longer a valid proposition. On another thread an owner says they found the radio once but have never been able to find it again ! What are Ford doing ? Self destructing it would appear.
When the facelift was unveiled we said on this forum that the lack of physical controls is a massive mistake and noted the lack of front fog lights - Ford , including my local dealer - said the fog lights were now built into the main light cluster but from reading this forum when owners took delivery they were saying that indeed there are no front fog lights at all - after spending ages looking for the fog light switch in the various screen menus and finding nothing. So if this is correct, that the facelift doesnt have front fog lights after all that leaves a very bad taste in the mouth given that factually incorrect statements were being branded about by the company and its dealers. If Ive missed something on the forum apologies, but my memory is only of reading from owners that they couldnt find the fog light switch and coming to the conclusion that there arent any after all.

Not sure the facelift was an improvement TBH. If Ford wanted to keep the sales up, they would have done the job properly. It seems bit half baked to me.

Ford have quoted me £600 for a 4 year service and MOT (16k miles), which is putting me off buying another one at the moment and the new model provides very litle to justify the price increases.

I think as sales continue to tank, you will begin to find the discounting getting somewhat deeper.

It'll be interesting to see if Puma sales pick up when people start to take delivery of Puma EVs. Some may have held back waiting to see if they wanted the EV version or not.

Considering the older version of the Puma has the old Fiesta interior, how dare they just simply update the interior, patch front fog lights, tut tut,I've not had front fog lights in my cars since 2011,as far as EV'S go sales are really in decline
Think my wife's car with 2 options was £36k but wee got a great on it though ,that aside, the facelift car ticks so many boxes ,maybe if we're an existing owner of the pld car, I wouldn't slate the new Facelift car just like the majority of the members on here do,but no I wouldn't because I had a new 23 plate Fiesta ST3 and the sync 3 ,then that archaic looking dashboard was enough for me too patch the car 6 months earlier than I should have,if the new Puma ST was available even sooner then the Fiesta ST would have gone then
Oh just remembered front fog lights....ie cornering lights are built into the new Facelift car....
