Thanks for the observations, let me clarify the screen issue, under normal circumstances I can indeed see through it, but on days when the sun is strong and low the filaments become much more visible, my wife has even commented in the passenger seat and she doesn't drive, it is a bizarre experience, we are all used to seeing through the thicker lines on the rear screen, but I think that's more to do with the distance between each filament.
I cannot comment on the efficiency of the wireless charging, as I say it was sold to me as having it but was clear that it doesn't, the area is not the right shape for a phone.
Yes the misting is in the rear clusters, apparently a common issue with Pumas, the lights do not generate enough heat to evaporate the condensation, there are apparently small drainage holes to assist with this, again I can only comment on my other car which has all round LED lighting and has never had this issue, just feels like a flaw in the design.
I have yet to look at the rear door seals, but would be a good point, my old job ran a fleet of focuses and they were notorious for this issue.
I am guessing the next mute point will be the wet oil belt and the horror stories around the ecoboost engines being starved of oil, not sure I have read that Pumas have experienced this (yet) and am hoping they wont.
As far as I am aware and have seen there is no ban on autolocking doors.
Agree, do not like the facelift interior, would not be for me.
The good, the not so good and the rubbish.....

I have yet to look to see if we have any condensation on ours.
Our rear door rubbers should be ok as the rear doors don't get used very much. My daughter has a 19 plate Focus and one of the front door rubbers is coming away. Whoever it is at Ford, no doubt a bean counter, who comes up with these bad ideas really need to be pushed into another career and leave the designing to the engineers. You can't believe with all the trouble the wet belt system has caused, they leave one in the sump. At least if it lasts 10 years there will be an excuse to drop the sump and check the strainer which never happens on most cars. If we keep ours I won't be leaving it 10 years. I read, not sure if this is true, that to replace the oil pump belt, the cam chain needs to be removed. At 10 years it would be advisable to replace that at the same time as the "bicycle" chain is likely to have stretched a little. Still early days with the Puma yet so let's hope there are no common issues appear as the 2020 and 2021 cars get a bit older. Ours will get extended warranty with Ford when the time comes and I will be changing the oil every year on ours.

Not sure how you say the charging tray is not the right shape for a phone? It’s literally a flat tray big enough for most phones made.
I have a 15 ProMax and it fits perfectly in the tray with a little spare space. I’ve never seen a phone so big that it won’t fit the tray? Apart from its glitchy nature when driving on a bumpy road it’s actually a great little cubby hole that keeps the phone nice and secure.
What phone do you have that won’t fit the tray?

If that's the case it shouldn't be classed as a wireless charger.....In any car it should be large enough for the biggest mobile phone.Smartguy67 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 05, 2024 9:23 pmMaybe he has a different tray. I'm not sure if the Autolocking is an EU thing as many cars to this day have Auto locking - I think it's more of a Ford thing due to an incident where rescuers couldn't get into the car to rescue a man due to the locked doors.
I myself like the idea of locked doors automatically
Also the picture shown looks like it's a left hand drive car that's why the 12v / USB are on the opposite side
I've never had an issue with the Wireless
The one niggle I do have is how cheap and tinny the doors are when you close them with just a mild push
The front ones arn't as bad now as I simply stuck some anti-shock stickers on the door and although it's not a massive difference is does make it a bit of a duller (more premium sound) - not bad for just a couple of quid but the way the back doors are I couldn't stick them on those so still sound bad

Ford Puma Vignale Magnetic 155bhp Manuel - Panoramic Roof + Drivers Pack + Power Tailgate + Spare Tyre
The centre console on the Titanium looks like this, you can see that this is just a storage tray not a wireless charging pad, which was only an issue because the dealer told me that it had wireless charging when it obviously[attachment=0]Puma Centre.JPG[/attachment doesn't.
That little symbol in the middle, in line with the gear shroud stitching, is the wireless charge symbol. Pretty sure it is a wireless pad there. That symbol is what you need to look for.

IMO it's only worth buying a Puma now if you go for the ST.
