I have serviced my car myself in the last month.

However every time I turn on the engine on the dash a msg appears saying Oil change required soon.

Anyone any idea how I can remove this automated message? Or can only a dealer at Ford do it.

Also my Ford app on my phone keeps reminding me a service is due.

Any advice would be appreciated

Thanks

I am curious about your reasons for servicing the car yourself, because even the oldest Puma is sill relatively recent so doing home servicing will have a negative effect on its market value.
Unless of course you intend to keep the car effectively until the end of its life in which case it will not matter. :)

I think you will find that the service warning will need to be switched off by a dealer.

Yes, I have every intention of keeping the car myself . Not interested in selling it at all. Very happy with.
Appreciate your replies
