That's strange, as you would have thought that a technical document would be more accurate than a brochure. I think both are wrong as one advantage with the Puma is the manual handbrake, so the turning circle can be a lot less than stated :D

Not sure why Ford have dropped what I have known to be there for the last 35 years....the wiper stalk. How does that work with just the one stalk.

Also I thought the ST had a standard wheel not a square one.

Do the front parts of your seats pull forward for drivers with longer legs. I find on ours there is no support for the underneath of your right leg as Ford assumed most people who drive it will be 5'2" lol. That's the wife's height and she finds the seats fine but 10 minutes with me driving I am trying to get my leg comfy.
All new models have this style of steering wheel unless you choose the New 'Handling Pack' option on the ST model I believe.
In terms of the one stalk not found any problem with it so far. First time I had to use the wipers my brain was a bit confused, but soon got use to it. It's just a turn knob on the end of the stalk.
Both front seats have pull out extension for your legs.
I do think the main touch screen is a little big, but easy to use and in my opinion a definite improvement from to old version.

Also put it into Sport mode for the first time yesterday and immediately it feels like a different car😁😁

Thanks for answering my queries. The pull out bit on the seats is a massive plus point for me. I checked the seat depth front to back on our Puma with my Kuga and it's the same but the Kuga being a taller car means my legs are further away from the pedals which suits me and gives me thigh support. Just need to convince my wife to get an ST when I get a call from the dealer asking if I want to upgrade next year or the year after.

Hope you enjoy the car.

My wife and I well mostly for the wife ,have ordered a Puma ST in frozen white, panoramic roof and handling pack, we've been quoted a time scale of 10 weeks, Sales guy said Ford don't build them batches anymore,it would have been longer but he's jumped onto a earlier build

What was it about the handling pack that made your wife choose it?

Hi it was myself that chose the handling pack, reason being not a fan of the magnitite grey finish on the alloys,as we have a 2023 ST3 fiesta, also I am hoping the handling pack on the Puma gives it better road handling than the current Fiesta

It was the wheels I had in mind when I asked because in the price list photo I think they look terrible, and will be very awkward to clean.
The suspension is adjustable.
For me the only plus point about the handling pack is the black roof which is normally a Β£500 option, but you won't have this because you have specified the panoramic roof.

@Ron240 the alloys in the photo do look a bit of a mess I am just hoping they look better in the metal, haven't even driven a Puma, when picking up the fiesta last year,I nearly purchased a Puma in Azura blue with a pan roof wish I had as l love this colour, I am hoping the 1 litre engine power can be increased???? .l also couldn't cope with the manual gearbox in the fiesta mate

Last week we had a VIN and build date of late October.

Now no VIN and build has been delayed 6 weeks, probably looking at mid December now before we see it.
But at least Ford are paying for us to have a rental until it is here

Here's the tech specs for the 2024 new versions, looks like the ST still is 11.2 turning circle.
