Nice to see you are enjoying it.
About time they put some beef into certain parts.
I didn't realise the new one had increased it's turning circle....Maybe another negative to add to the list come exchange time for me.

Sparks it's only the ST version. It's always had a larger turning circle, same as Fiesta ST.

I think the turning circle is the same as all models, it's just got more responsive steering.

Looks well externally. Not sure I like the dash though. I would have to see one in the flesh. I was in two minds in April whether to wait but decided to go for the Vignale instead as there wasn't one to view at the time.

Not sure why Ford have dropped what I have known to be there for the last 35 years....the wiper stalk. How does that work with just the one stalk.

Also I thought the ST had a standard wheel not a square one.

Do the front parts of your seats pull forward for drivers with longer legs. I find on ours there is no support for the underneath of your right leg as Ford assumed most people who drive it will be 5'2" lol. That's the wife's height and she finds the seats fine but 10 minutes with me driving I am trying to get my leg comfy.

DB74 the ST is 11.2 metres, the others 10.4. Ford figures from their configurator.

All new models have this style of steering wheel unless you choose the New 'Handling Pack' option on the ST model I believe.
In terms of the one stalk not found any problem with it so far. First time I had to use the wipers my brain was a bit confused, but soon got use to it. It's just a turn knob on the end of the stalk.
Both front seats have pull out extension for your legs.
I do think the main touch screen is a little big, but easy to use and in my opinion a definite improvement from to old version.

Also put it into Sport mode for the first time yesterday and immediately it feels like a different car😁😁

You will probably not be thinking that when you are used to it, particularly if you go back to a car with a smaller screen. :D
It is situated lower down so its not in your face, plus its in landscape format which is nicer to look at. Its very similar to the screen in the Focus, and as you say a big improvement over the previous screen which looks tiny by comparison now.
Bigger is better as they say, and there are even bigger screens out there nowadays.
Regarding the steering wheel...many people laughed and made jokes about it but I think it suits the more modern look of the dashboard, plus the shape is not unique with current model Peugeot cars having a very similar shape.
Being completely honest though I do prefer my own wheel over the new one, although who knows I could change my opinion if I lived with it for a while. :)

I was going off the previous brochure, so not sure if its changed for the newer version? I've currently got an MG HS courtesy car and the turning circle is shocking, as I keep hitting the hedge when going into the drive and it's meant to be 11.1m. The Puma ST is a lot less and I would have thought it would be the same as other models, although it is 25% quicker I think.
