New puma Order build time

Hi All
Just ordered a new Puma Facelift this weekend. It will be a new Build and an automatic ST Line-X in Cactus Grey, as never had one as there is no spec in the country corresponding to my specification
Is anyone waiting for a new build and been told how long it would take?
My Dealer has no idea at present, but said could be 3 months plus

Ordered our new puma start of April. Moved to Gate release on 28 May . Current expected delivery is w/e 10 August

I would certainly be waiting until 1st September for that one, otherwise you will lose unnecessary money and not have a new car for long!!

Yeah , I have already suggested that to the dealer . Was originally due July but looks like it is been stuck waiting for transports from the factory in Romania. It looks like they allocate approx 7 weeks from gate release to delivery to dealer as status stated the same for 3 weeks and the delivery dates slipped by the same timeframe.

Our dealer has just put a build in for us to reserve a slot. It’s showing end of August build date.

It’s to replace one we are rejecting, long story. Doing the build slot to keep our options open

Hi Never having had a build for a new car before, my last Puma was bought from the showroom at end of lockdown, all others were in the country or showroom.
What are the stages it goes through, once you place your order with the dealer?
Sorry for being a bit thick about this, I placed the order 6th July. I should imagine Oct/Nov but idea

Do you have a build date ? I have found in the past that is one date that is normally quite accurate.
Then it’s the slow train to Holland once it is finally release from the factory.
Shipped to the uk and then onto your dealer. Theses times can vary for no apparent reason

Hi July 6th order, build date End August and possible arrival Mid October, but that may slip of course
