Just for reference my FordPass Pro version is 1.28.12 and it has not changed at all.

Pro version is just the same as always. I prefer it anyway but the normal version needs sorting.

I purposely didn’t update it, but then it did it on its own it’s awful
Service mileage is wrong
You can’t refresh tyre pressure readouts
Fuel shows percentage only

Fiesta doesn’t show it’s got connectivity now when it did
Miss the door alerts

The other app is marginally better but didn’t show the service history, I need to log on via my pc to make sure the service history mileage is correct on there, in case they’ve nerfed it all

Is this the FordPass Pro like mine your are talking about?
Mine shows the same as it always did and hasnt changed
I have never been able to refresh tyre pressures...it is sent to the app from the car.
Fuel has always shown percentage and estimated distance remaining.

Yes mate pro I’m using but I have the other of which I’m critical off above

I could refresh data on that and updated info, it’s shockingly bad with errors, just hope they don’t do the same to the pro one

It does look like the apps have been going downhill since before I started using them.
I used to use a Mercedes app and it was far superior to this Ford one and included things like pinpointing the exact location of the vehicle and geofencing, although I think the Ford app may have included things like this in the past.
On a plus point I see that OTA updates should now be possible with the facelifted Puma.

The Ford app does that.

The latest version uses Google Maps.

What’s the point of having this app installed on you phone waste of time I think

It's not compulsory and doesn't affect your ownership experience.
It is entirely optional. :)
