Front bumper

Does anyone know how easily this bottom strip on the front bumper is to remove ?
The front driver side has popped out and I'm hoping I can fix it myself.

it should just push back in , it's only the clips that need rehomed

I've tried pushing it back but it doesn't stay, so I'm wondering if the stub it slips over to stay in place has snapped off. I can see there's a row of circular studs along underneath. I guess these are pull out/push in clips??

these modern fords use awful fixings,the mounting tabs are that thin and gripped incredibly tight that once removed at least half of them snap off,if you look at the grey part of the clip then you should just be able to make out if its broken or not as the rear part will be missing or hanging off

this is a similar sort of fixing they use,you can see the bottom tabs ok top ones u/s,to make matters worse a lot of them are made from even thinner and harder plastic so snap so easy

Thanks The Radman. The grey part with the slot cut out is intact but no matter how hard I push it back into place it won't click back and stay.

My wife's last car had a bit of trim that wouldn't clip back in, no matter how much I tried. I popped into a local body shop just to ask their advice and one of them looked at it and fixed it in a about a minute.
They didn't charge for the 'advice', so it may be worth just asking the question.......Or, I may have been lucky and have a decent bodyshop nearby...

thats good then if the tabs still ok,it could be that when you are pushing it back its just getting bent slightly down and your pushing it under the opening of the slot instead of into it or the tab may be trapping underneath the clip and the whole trim piece may need pulling slightly forward to allow the tab to pop back up see if this pic helps you see anything,its the passenger side but will give you an idea
