Just had a look online. Ford's own and others. No fuse mentioned for the glove box. Makes me think its shared with another fuse?

As a beside - fuse 10 in the engine bay is for the Heated Windscreen Washers. Didn't know we had that!
Checked the fuse chart and it's fuse 3, 10amp in the engine bay.
Ah, must read properly in future. 10A Fuse in Engine Bay. Fuse 3
Only worth checking if you have a light that isn't working.....There isn't any light for the fuse to use in mine..
Re the heated washers, I believe only the tips are heated, so if the pipe becomes frozen then they won't work. I think they come on when you activate the heated front windscreen.

Have you looked closely at your glovebox and compared it with the photo recently posted by DaveM02 in the Glovebox light thread, and if so is this section completely missing from your glovebox?
Yes it is my understanding that at least with Ford heated washer systems it comes on with the heated front screen...which would make sense.
After the initial thawing there should be no need for continous heating because the nozzles like most modern cars are underneath the bonnet line so protected from airflow, and heat from the engine should keep everything working fine.
The only thing the driver needs to make sure of is using the correct mix of washer fluid additive.

I find the light to be perfectly adequate by fully illuminating the glovebox contents during darkness.
Having said that I have previously had brighter glovebox lights.
I am unsure whether this is an LED or a conventional bulb, or how to get to it if it fails.
I will not lose any sleep over it though.

Mine goes in for the recall on Tuesday, I'll ask the dealer why my glovebox light isn't working and see what they come up with... ;)

What is the recall for?
I believe our cars were built around the same time (May 23) but there is no recall on mine.
