Glovebox light (lack of)

Is there supposed to be a light in the glovebox?
Opened it last night - pitch black, was expecting it to light up like just about every other car I have had in the last 30 years....

Surely there's supposed to be a light in there? Am I missing something???

I've had 2 Pumas and no light in either glovebox.
Puma ST-Line-Vignale 155 manual, magnetic grey, DAP, electric tailgate. New in December 2021(sold)

As you say, strange, maybe it's just in the ST?? I've created a poll to see how many owners have lights.
