Does AAWireless or Carsifi work with CarPlay from Apple?

Thats would be awesome because wife has an iphone and i an android.

If you’re looking for Wireless CarPlay then I can recommend OTTOCAST Wireless CarPlay Adapter 2022. Mine’s hidden away under the armrest and works flawlessly. Connects quickly and had no dropouts or reconnection issues.

Im looking for one device with the support for both systems, Android Auto and CarPlay.

I've got an issue with AAwireless where the blimming thing won't connect to the phone. Not only after it fails to connect, it blocks Android Auto from running by wire (Even after disconnecting and powering the phone off and on, restarting the car) and also stops Sync.

This started when I was in Maldon Essex and had to blag my way home as had no navigation whatsoever, so road signs only lol. (2 weeks ago)
Upon getting home and chilling out for an hour then deciding to try and fix it, it all sprang back to life. Since then it has had random disconnects and random will not connect.
Love AAwireless but at the moment it's more grief than its worth.

Have you tried resetting it and reconnecting the phone yet?
Also, mine has just updated, so open the app and see if there is an update for you. This may clear the problem.

I had an issue with my AAWireless dongle where it just wouldn't connect even after a full reset. Diagnostic logs sent and within a week or 2, they replaced it free of charge. The after market support is fantastic. Wouldn't be without it now.

I think we all bought through Indiegogo (Start ups) or direct originally, now they only sell via Amazon so you have their great customer service with the back up of Amazon should things go wrong.

Got this in tonight but having mega problems, solid blue led? tried using troubleshooting in app, cleared data and cache several times, even uninstalled auto and reinstalled. I connected mobile first then followed instructions on screen unplugged mobile then plug in aawireless, screen coming up but no maps?, any suggestions?

*Update* on trawling through the tinternet I found a few articles on the latest Android 13 upgrade, seems that sometimes the maps are put into deep sleep and aren't included into the app launcher, workaround was simply to open the "deep sleeping" app before connecting to the car, bingo. I've been banging my head on the garage door for the last hour, DOH!
