Looks like the review embargo lifted this morning as there's a plethora of reviews out. Seems to average around the 7/10 mark

First reviews of the Gen-E are out
Interestingly I heard on another video that they confirmed with the Ford engineers that it does have a 53kWh battery installed and Ford apparently limited it to 43.6kWh in order to help maintain a faster/flatter charging rate.

They are that price for a reason. Very very few want them and even less second hand. Was on the news yesterday that only 1 in 140 private drivers in the north east have an electric car! Vast bulk of EV sales are company and the Puma won’t be a big company choice
By contrast, here in Oxford there are tons of EVs. We've got good extensive high speed charging hubs around the city and the car park where I work has loads of teslas, Ioniqs, Kias etc etc etc, even a couple of the huge ugly BMW iX models. I've seen 3-4 of the new Macan EVs, plenty of BYDs and the ORA funky cat too.
All about supporting the infrastructure as well as persuading people to buy.

I think this is a silly maximum range. I rarely let my car get that low before filling up.
I wonder how many sales they would get if they advertised at least 117 miles range on motorways in the cold.

Most will be company cars. The infrastructure isn’t the problem, they are nearly always empty. Why? Because nobody in their right mind would give up a petrol/diesel car to pay 80p + per KWh !!KevC wrote: ↑Thu Apr 17, 2025 9:34 am By contrast, here in Oxford there are tons of EVs.
