Can anyone help me with the beeping of the driver fatigue warning can it be returned off permanently ?

This is in the manual

Switching Driver Alert On and Off


Press Features on the touchscreen.

Press Driver Assistance.

Switch Driver Alert on or off.

Note: The system turns on automatically after every ignition cycle.

Wondering more why it is beeping all the time?! Think mine has activated once in 6 years and I was tired motorway driving. It detects you wandering around and not maintaining distances etc.

I was thinking the same - are you wandering actually, or is it a malfunction? Mine has only gone off once, when I was definitely wandering to avoid potholes!

My fatigue warning light comes on at least 10 times in my daily commute,dont indicate when switching lanes on a dual carriageway/motorway several times it comes on,bad road surfaces with the handling package it comes on,as the ride quality becomes a bit twitchy,which in turn demands a little compensation to correct

This is a mandatory fitting in all new cars sold since July 2022 and you cannot turn it off permanently.

Never seen it in mine and nothing in the settings.....So looks like I'm just Lucky... :D

It'll be mandatory for new model releases, not cars built after that date that were already in existance. So, once it's facelifted or a whole new model is created, then it goes on.
ST-Line X 125 Auto in Magnetic Grey with rev cam, front sensors and heated seats. (Had an original Puma in '99 too)

The 23 plate fiesta ST3 we had was nowhere near as bad with the fatigue warning ⚠️ as it is on the Puma,come to think of it I've never ever had a car that Frickin bongssssssss so much as in this car car.....its so frustrating
