ST Performance Grey Matter (Performance Pack / Drivers Assistance Pack / Dark Wheels & Power Tailgate)
This material Ford name "Sensico" is one of the poorest car seat materials that I have ever encountered,I noticed some wear on the side bolster piping on the drivers seat on the fiesta ST before we traded it in 4 weeks ago,my wife is stick thin, plus I don't carry much excess weight, I've always had heavily bolstered seat in all my cars,so I know the right way to enter/exit the car so save wear and tear/damage to the seats.Gone are the days Ford fitted leather seat covers to the front seats
On order Puma ST with pano roof and handling pack
Well I have had seat cover changed at the Ford dealers but not happy with the fit at all and been told it could take months to settle in place
The centre panels do not feel as padded as the passenger seat either, somethings not right here at all
Obviously I’m not leaving it at this after now being told the below now.
(seat covers especially leather can take weeks if not months to settle. The cover is fitted to the preexisting foam padding and is not machine steamed into position as it would have been at the time when your vehicle was manufactured)
Unless of course anyone here has experience in these and confirm what I’m being told as it seems very unlikely in some of the areas it’s not fitted in
Should of been told of the above in advance if they knew this was going to be the case, and if the seat wasn’t going to be the same as before then who’s going to except this or want it done at this end result
Will post further as I move forward with this, I did have a call from their head office yesterday and told them about it, and they agreed with me it should fit like a glove and to contact the garage to rectify it.of which I got that comment above
