Nice summation, when are you expecting your car to arrive,my wife is expecting hers at the end of this month,if your car arrives before, it would be great for you to post you're opinion and some photosthatblackpuma wrote: ↑Fri Nov 01, 2024 6:05 am https://youtu.be/yr1JmTK9DfU
First proper in depth review of a Handling Pack equipped car i’ve seen!
My main take aways:
- Car actually sounds pretty good for a 1L and retains the naughty soundtrack of the 1.5 (albeit without the pops and bangs)
- STHP KW suspension (in standard setup) is indeed a lot stiffer than the standard car and more akin to an RS giving it that “special” factor at the cost of severely harsh damping
- The lack of launch control really hampers this car’s ability to make an aggressive launch, could maybe have knocked off 0.3-0.4 off the 0-62 if ford had this as an option. The acceleration is nothing to write home about but if you were to put some tape over the speedo and go purely off sound and watching the rev counter, the short gears make the car seem way faster than it actually is
- not sure if it’s just the lighting and cinematography but the new interior looks like a nice place to be in this vid. Sure some harsher materials on the dash and still don’t get the placement of the air vents but the whole package works quite well and looks very 2025 which is a huge step forward.
- Conti SC 7 tires on the STHP seem to be getting a good wrap with reviewers, defo a step forward from the ageing PS4S
- Finally the STHP wheels and steering wheel, while still purely personal preference, I think are a massive improvement and give the car a visual edge.
It seems the STHP has been developed for a market for those who want the handling thrills more like an RS product but with ST Line speed so you don’t get in trouble while having some fun.
Overall i’m now very eager to take delivery of mine and experience it for myself
ST Handling pack optional extra
On order Puma ST with pano roof and handling pack
Has anyone taken delivery of their Puma ST with handling pack? Looking like I should take delivery of mine in the coming weeks ( assuming no further delays ) so very excited to take it for a spin and see how it compares to my old 1.5 M6.
Can anyone comment on the ride harshness and composure of the KW springs? From watching translated polish reviews (all I can seem to find on the car lol) it sounds like the dampers are very stiff but have a near "RS" level of body control which does sound intriguing.
Any owner insight would be greatly appreciated as I eagerly await a delivery date

Did the reviewer turn off the piped audio? The 1.5 doesn't need it (mines been off since week 2) ; if he didn't , not sure how you can really tell what the engine actually sounds like.
I can't help but feel that the new one will be great, until you're either chasing an old one up a motorway slip road, or trying to keep up on a mountain road, where, clever suspension or not, the 1.5 will walk away.
Puma ST (Performance Pack) in Mean Green
Hi, Have just joined the forum and am hoping someone could help me,
I have just picked up my new ST with the handling pack, I have taken the mini space saving spare wheel off my Previous 2022 Puma ST Line to carry in the ST
For some reason when you check in the Ford Puma brochure for extras on the ST, its says N/A (not applicable) Does this mean it wont fit?

At the dealership, the car salesman told me that the megabox has the same dimension as the previous model; and also I can tell you that i saw that optional in his monitor and the price was 270 euro.Broker wrote: ↑Mon Nov 25, 2024 4:17 pm Hi, Have just joined the forum and am hoping someone could help me,

Be unbearable on uk roads, couldn’t think of anything worse. The standard ST 200 is more than firm enough and tolerable at above low speeds on half decent roads, a little better than Fiesta ST on ride but not handling. RS handling, what RS? the last one, mk3.5 Focus is a terrible ride and it has adaptive dampers and a much more substantial body and trim.benwatki wrote: ↑Fri Nov 22, 2024 5:32 pm Has anyone taken delivery of their Puma ST with handling pack?
