Hi, Has anyone else noticed that Ford have included a new extra option for the new facelift Puma ST. It's now showing on the configuration and updated specs from 19 July.
ST Handling pack includes unique 19" alloys, KW coilover suspension , illuminated st scuff plates and ROUND steering wheel , black contrast roof - Yours for £1050 !
Maybe an option for anyone who doesn't like the new shaped steering wheel
ST Handling pack optional extra
The new optional wheel looks terrible IMO.
Also when the first price list for the facelifted Puma was released in February the contrast painted black roof was a no cost option on the ST model, but now it is £500 as a stand alone option or included with the so called handling pack.
Ford have reduced the performance of the Puma ST so this to me is their way of trying to regain some credibility, but doing so at additional cost and questionable desirability is not the way to go about it IMO.

Be useful to know what tyres are included with the Handling pack, same as the standard 1.0ltr ST or an upgrade of a sorts? Anyone know!AliMac13 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 25, 2024 1:53 pm Hi, Has anyone else noticed that Ford have included a new extra option for the new facelift Puma ST. If only it had more power.
those alloys look like something you would see on an american pick up or similar
Honestly, I wouldn’t have one given! Insult to the badge. Why compromise comfort with stiff suspension only to NOT be compensated with suitable performance, completely pointless and a waste of money in my opinion. Get a Polo Gti while you still can, a no brainer.

Out of interest, have any owners picked up their handling pack equipped models? The only ones ive seen so far in the UK haven't had this specced.
Ive got a handling pack model on order and looking forward to trying out the KW setup to see if it makes a big difference over the standard ST which ive tried a couple of. Has anyone experienced this yet?
Also dunno if I'm in the minority but I quite like the optional wheels

I ordered mine on 18th July, so missed this. But I do have the black alloys as have seen it in the garage (arrived last Weds for redelivery work etc. I have no idea what coilers are!!
Puma ST Facelift in Desert Island Blue, with removable towbar and black roof/styling. Love it
It seems like you are saying your car does not have the Handling Pack but it does have the wheels pictured in this thread.
Is this what you are saying?

I Hope not, because im waiting for a White st coming in november and i hate these black rims, i'm a Big fan of the standard gunmetal ones.
That's exactly what I am saying. They were standard when I ordered. Look quite good with the black roof - that one I did add!
