Sync software update !!!

Anyone know what’s been updated or fixed in 3.4.23188? As I’m a firm believer if it ain’t broke don’t fix it

Ford don’t seem to release a change log of what has been updated. As sync 3 is now in maintenance mode it will be only fixes for issues that have been discovered.

It uses your maps on the phone.....I use Waze more than Google maps, I find it gives more information on a drive.

Everyone bleets on about google maps, I think it is a pile of sh@&£ Doesn’t give your true speed in car play and is even worse when not navigating, no thanks absolutely crap. Waze is far better and so is TomTom and I even prefer the standard Sync system!

Agreed...Waze is much better, surprising as they are both Google. I wouldn't agree that the standard Sync system being better than GM purely for the voice recognition if nothing else.

Well would you belive it after 2yrs 3 months my sync and maps has at last decided to update over wifi Ha Ha well done fords haven't waited long

Ours always has done but, it takes forever and there can be numerous downloads, you might think it has completed, but it usually finds more if you scan it again and again and ……..,

One of the good things about my puma replacement is updates are to your phone whilst you are on WiFi and when you get into the car it comes up on the screen that there is an update available and what is changing and when it is convenient you choose to download it to your car. Normally done within a few minutes, no more trying to put them on a usb or waiting for wifi

I have joined the forum and couldn’t fined where to post this i have a 24 plate puma stline x pre facelift and its on sync version 3.4 fully updated and it only shows 500 songs that are on any of my playlists but if i press play all it shows the total amount of songs on my ipod gen 6??

Also the music intermittently jumps to i have done a master reset and the full playlists on my ipod and also my ipod dosnt jump at all i have a fiesta 68 plate before that shows all of the songs on a playlist not just 500 for example i have over 2000 on my hip hop playlist.

Finally had the update come through via my phones hotspot. It downloaded and installed two different files with 23188 being the final one but maps are still on V11 with no further updates available for download.

I installed F12 maps on my Kuga in May last year. Doesn't the Puma get the latest updates.
