What simple universal fix would you recommend? I guess bleach is not so good either? Would some dishwasher tablet work to clean it up?

Maybe one of the de-scaler ones could work. Or a drop of Calgon.

Sorry to be picky but was wondering about some generic brand or fix since i'm in a different country. But got to see what the equivalent name of the same product would be here. I know. It is the UK forum so i'm the oddball

From somebody that has to use denture cleaning tablets, I would avoid using Steradent, they left a rock hard white deposit in my denture glass.

I ought to add, I now use the cheapo Tesco PRO brand, no rock hard deposit and clean dentures I think the take-a-way is to test whatever denture cleaning tablets (or other) first, and see if they leave a crystal clear glass overnight. The best test would be in washer fluid.

Cheap screen wash like the one from Home Bargains goes off after it's been opened. Something caught my eye when pouring screen wash in my Kuga and looked like there was an eel in the screen wash.

It is probably just a myth, but I was taught to never use washing up liquid on cars, it may contain harsh chemicals which can damage paintwork and other metallic surfaces.
