Re: VIEWS ON MOUNTUNE

I've been very slow off the mark here: I've only just noticed the (quite frequent) references to the Mountune Smartflash kits. I'm about to get a new Puma. Quick views on a) whether the Mountune is a good thing to have, and b) difficult/costly to fit? Is it only of performance benefit, or does it a...

Re: Battery problem update

I think we might be confusing the message you get on the Sync screen informing of it having shut off a few services to protect the battery and the old Deep Sleep notifications via the Ford App. Not seen a 'Deep Sleep' message since the update on my last Puma and certainly not on this one. I my case...

Re: 2020 ST Performance servicing.

Yes sounds about right. At least as far as normal service items are concerned. However much will depend on current mileage. Do you have access to the Ford pass app, if so then you might like to take a look at the service scheduled for 4years / 50k miles. There is a whole raft of visual inspections a...

Re: Battery problem update

Having had a number warnings prior to Xmas on Sync that my vehicle had shut down to save battery and having had more then enough of repeatedly sticking it on charge. For fear of it letting me down. I decided it was time to replace my +4 year old Varta (the original failed after just 6 months and wa...

Re: Post F13 Maps Upgrade

I have updated to map F13 months ago and also uploaded the XML file generated by Map-49471-update , that gets acknowledged it with a tick several times. No matter how many times it’s been done, still shows that there is an update, namely Map-49471-update. I’ve done it again today and the result is ...

Re: Post F13 Maps Upgrade

So an update.. I down loaded the the F13 Maps "Upgrade" (see below) and successfully installed it, be that it it took an age for what was almost and only a 9Gb install. Notwithstanding that I never received a log file. With my vehicles Sync screen still indicating that I simply have Maps F...

Re: Petrol Smell.

I’ve just bought a 5 month old Puma ST LINE X 3 weeks ago and I’ve noticed a smell of petrol in the car upon cold startup, was in the garage yesterday but they can’t find anything wrong saying in cold weather the needs more petrol to start the smell disappears quickly. Is this a thing with pumas in...
