No tension in trunk hitch connectors

Hi,
I'm a French Puma owner, and I have the 2 connectors waiting in the trunk to connect a hitch. I bought a specific towbar for this vehicle and it doesn't seem to work.
After testing with a multimeter, it turns out that the gray connector doesn't supply me with a 12v tension, or even contact. Do you have any idea how to solve this problem? Thanks

There may be a fuse missing. The online manual may help. It will tell you which fuse controls that connector.

This is probably a good shout. If the towbar uses it's own fuse it likely won't be there if you didn't have one fitted at the factory

I've just checked, fuse number 43 is in place.

I wonder if they need to be activated by the dealer, I know it’ sounds weird but many years ago I fitted rover supplied fog lights to a mates brand new rover reason being the kit was £65.00 from rover and £250 as an option. Once fitted and wired up he had to take it to the dealer for them to plug into the car and tell the ecu that the car had foglights.
I think you might find coding is required
