You will have to let us know what you think of it. I like the look of it and have added it to my list of potential Puma replacementsRizmo wrote: ↑Thu Feb 08, 2024 1:16 pm No Vignale so I may look elsewhere. In 2 weeks I'm off to see what the new Lexus LBX is all about. It's the 2024 car of the year and competes with the new Puma on price. I'm not sure about the CVT transmission. The rest of the car I like. The Premium Plus seems the one to go for.

Puma ST-Line X 1.0L Ecoboost 125PS 7 Speed Auto - Desert Island Blue 2021
Like I said, the transmission is an unknown to me. I've never driven a car with CVT. Even the cheapest version, which is listed just under 30k is well equipped and its on engine for all variants.microbe wrote: ↑Thu Feb 08, 2024 6:12 pmYou will have to let us know what you think of it. Apparently, when you accelerate hark the engine can be noisy. Also it's non turbo and that gives 134hp from a 1.5 motor. Have I been spoilt. Seriously, the build quality is exceptional. Lexus have won the reliability award 7 years in succession.

Obsoletely agree. The end of an era, RS and ST's now gone for good.
I have had a fair share of RS's over the years and thought hey, why not buy a (200ps) Puma ST. A billiant car in my opinion. But now, what's happened they have actually replaced it with a down graded version. Simply hard to believe.
She doesn't drive it aggressively and she doesn't let me drive it as 'I have my own car'
That said, as a passenger I've not thought the engine to be noisy. I'll see if I can get her to put her foot down (with the car, not me!).

It will be of limited use for us then.
I seen that he was talking about the missing right stalk...would have been interesting to hear what he said.
It looks like all functions are integrated into the left stalk now.
The overall dashboard design really is so much nicer on that ST compared with mine.
When a facelift model comes along with any car the exterior looks can be divisive, but the interior is usually regarded by all as an overall improvement which makes the old one look dated.
