Christmas 2024

My Puma 2023 ST155 has decided to take us to Chateau des Tourelles in Picardy from 23/12/24 to 27/12/24. The fantastic 8 course Christmas Eve meal costs 20 euros (£18.35). Perhaps we will visit the Christmas market in Bruges, Belgium and Ypres and Paschendael and Boulogne and Agincourt and Dunkirk a...

Re: TDI Digital Tuning Box

A point to think about, where a modification is made to a vehicle, which might affect the warranty, or insurance, if the insurers have not approved it, is this. You will usually only become involved with insurers if something goes wrong, such as an accident. In that event, you might be injured, or t...

Re: Fuel price

Whatever the government does, people will always do whatever they can to avoid a new tax. I am reluctant to change my 2023 Puma for a new one which has the auto speed control software, even though I am pretty good at observing speed limits. So far as a drive per mile tax is concerned, I am not clear...

Re: Fuel price

Are we also going to be hit with a 2p per mile motoring charge. The present fuel duty already bears down more heavily on those who drive the most miles, or have the least fuel efficient cars. I wonder if a price per mile tax will be a flat rate for all vehicles?

Fuel price

Recently there have been posts about tuning a Puma and the various options available. I think those which give greatly enhanced power require the use of super petrol, rather than the standard 95 octane. I filled up my 155STLine this evening at my local Texaco filling station. The price was 130.9p pe...

Re: Auto Express has new Puma beaten by Renault Captur.

It’s interesting what puts people off cars. Smartguy67 objects to the missing letter of the Captur. I find the Huyundai badge ugly, whereas the Kia badge is attractive. I once had a Seat Leon and I objected to the large chromed S in the middle of the black radiator grille, so I painted it matt black...

Re: Auto Express has new Puma beaten by Renault Captur.

It would make more sense to me to compare the Captur with the Puma 155 than the 125, particularly in the light of the price discrepancy shown for the Captur. Any price difference would then be a matter for comment in the article. My wife and I chose our Pumas for the handling and driving enjoyment, ...

Well AliMac13, I’m sure we all hope it will exceed your expectations. It’s a great car for those who enjoy driving and it’s even comfortable on long journeys.
